JOINING FEE - this is £150 and includes £50 on your swipe card (for bar and catering) plus 4 guest tickets (worth up to £100)
**Our Mainland golf category is a discounted subscription rate for members who reside on the mainland for at least 30 full weeks per membership year. Mainland members will have unrestricted access to the course and clubhouse and may enter club competitions.
**The Club reserves the right to charge an excess charge equivalent to that of the difference to the 7-day membership rate should the member be resident on the Island for more than 22 weeks a year.
**Our Overseas golf category is a discounted subscription rate for members who reside outside the UK for more than 30 full weeks per membership year. Overseas members will have unrestricted access to the course and clubhouse but may only enter Open competitions.
**The Club reserve the right to charge an excess charge equivalent to that of the difference to the 7-day membership rate should the member be resident on the Island for more than 22 weeks a year.
Associate
Shanklin & Sandown are delighted to offer this Membership category. An Associate Member may play 20 Rounds of Golf Annually for £530 (guests may be signed in by Associate Members). No Joining Fee. Golf can be played anytime, except before 1.00 pm on Saturdays. Competition entry restricted to ‘open’ competitions. No voting rights.
Academy
Shanklin & Sandown are delighted to offer this new Membership category, specifically aimed at beginners or for those returning to the game after a break. This category of Membership allows the following benefits:
- 10 Lessons
- 2 rules/etiquette sessions
- 10 winter 9 holes (off peak)
- 10 summer 9 holes (off peak)
- Full use of practice facilities and Clubhouse
- Reduction in Joining Fee when upgrading
- £25 on swipe card for bar
All this for only £470.
Intermediate (Age 18 to 39)
Shanklin & Sandown are keen to encourage its younger Membership and now offers a competitive rate for joining to those aged between 18-39. This rate applies whether you have been a Junior/Young Adult/Student Member of the club or not.

Shanklin & Sandown has an active Junior section and we are always keen to encourage new young Members. The annual fees include full playing rights apart from some weekend mornings, a full fixtures calendar and the opportunity to join regular coaching programmes organised by our Professional.
